In the beautiful Hertfordshire settings of Hatfield and Bushey, we have two children’s homes. The homes have full staff teams and are registered to provide support for children and young people who have emotional, complex, social and behavioural needs.
The ethos of our children homes is to provide safety and stability to children in a time of great difficulty and change, enabling them to continue with everyday life even though they may be facing tough challenges.
The homes, Jasmine Gardens (Hatfield) and Highfield House (Bushey) both provide therapeutic and nurturing environments so that the children feel safe and cared for whilst learning boundaries and self-care skills.
Our ethos is that children and young people respond best and can reach their full potential when they are looked after in small, family style environments in which people are genuinely interested in their welfare, get to know them and their needs and ensure that those needs are met. We give the residents time to settle and we support them through their difficulties. We understand that ultimately children just want to feel safe and we strive to help them do this.
